Terms & Conditions:


This page (together with the documents referred to on it) tells you the terms and conditions on which we supply you access to our services. You should understand that by booking onto our courses, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.


1. Information about us
Wild for Words is registered in England and Wales under company number 11967844 and we have our registered office at: Eastgate House, 6 Mill Lane, Middle Barton OX7 7BT


2. Your status 
By placing a booking with us, you warrant that:
(a) You are legally capable of entering into binding contracts;
(b) You are at least 18 years old.


3. How the contract is formed between you and us 
After sending a booking request you will receive a message from us confirming the dates and cost of your booking – this is your Order Confirmation. The contract between us is formed when we send you this message (the Order Confirmation). In addition, this form serves as a Registration document and invoice. You will be asked to complete the registration form with contact and health details.


4. Consumer rights 
4.1 You may cancel a contract at any time within 7 working days, beginning on the day after you received the Order Confirmation. In this case, you will receive a full refund of any money paid, in accordance with our refunds policy (set out in clause 7 below).
4.2 To cancel a contract, you must inform us in writing by email at willa@wildforwords.co.uk
4.3 This provision does not affect your statutory rights.


5. Price and payment 
5.1 Prices are liable to change at any time, but changes will not affect orders in respect of which we have already sent you an Order Confirmation.
5.2 Our terms of business are that payment should be made within 14 days of receipt of the Booking Confirmation and Registration Form. Payment must be made by BACS (use family surname as payment reference) or cheque
5.3 Payment of our invoices is due 14 days from receipt of our Booking Confirmation and Registration Form. If we have not received payment within 14 days your child’s place may not be secure


6. Our refunds policy 
6.1 If you cancel a child’s place on a Holiday or Saturdays Course outside of the Cancellation Period and longer than fourteen (14) calendar days of the commencement of the Holiday or Saturdays Course, you will be  refunded the balance of the fees for the Course only if and when the place on the course has been re-sold. 
6.2 If you cancel a child’s place on a Holiday or Saturdays Course outside of the Cancellation Period and within fourteen (14) calendar days of the commencement of the Holiday or Saturdays Course, you will be required to pay fifty percent (50%) of the balance of the fees for the Course.
 6.3 If you cancel a child's place on a Holiday or Saturday Course outside of the Cancellation Period and within seven (7) calendar days before the commencement of the Holiday or Saturdays Course, you will be required to pay the full balance of the fee.
Please note that clauses 6.2,6.2 and 6.3 above are subject to your statutory cancellation rights as set out in clause 2 of these Terms and Conditions.


7. Use of Personal Information
7.1 The personal data (as it is defined in the Data Protection Act 2018) of a Student and/or Parent will be processed by Wild for Words, including any group companies in accordance with its Privacy Policy, copies of which can be requested from our office.
7.2 Wild for Words owns all the rights, title and interest in and to its websites, including software, text and media and its trade-marks, logos and brand elements. Nothing within these Terms & Conditions affects or licences the ownership of these rights. Any intellectual property created during any Course, Workshop or Holiday Workshop/Camp is owned by Wild for Words.


8. Health and Injuries
8.1 Children participate at their own risk and are obliged to inform Wild for Words and its staff of any existing injuries or medical condition. All application forms must have any known medical conditions stated and any changes to such information must be notified to Wild for Words immediately in writing.
8.2 If you are unsure whether a child should participate in any activity please consult the child's GP before enrolling the child.
8.3 Any medication left on the school premises must be clearly labelled and the child should, unless Wild for Words has agreed in writing otherwise, never be able to administer it themselves. 
8.4 Children must wear suitable footwear and clothing at all times, including Wild for Words aprons if requested.
8.5 If a child is unwell or has an accident requiring emergency treatment, the Parent will be contacted via the emergency contact details provided below or on the enrolment form. This number must always be contactable whilst the child is attending the Wild for Words course.
8.6 Parents are solely responsible for ensuring that the emergency contact details on our records are up to date.


9.  Personal Property
9.1 Children are obliged to take care of their own belongings. Wild for Words can accept no liability for lost or damaged belongings.
9.2 You acknowledge that the maximum aggregate liability of Wild for Words to a Child or Parent under these Terms & Conditions shall not exceed the course fee to which a claim relates.
9.3 The liability of Wild for Words and that of its staff is restricted to class time only and then only to gross negligence.


10.  General
10.1 Wild for Words may, at its own discretion, refuse a Child entry to a course or session if it is felt that the Child's behaviour is unacceptable.
10.2 Wild for Words reserves the right to make changes to the timetable and to the teaching staff from the advertised programme in the event of illness or other circumstances beyond our control.
10.3 Where a session of a course has to be cancelled by Wild for Words, teachers will give as much notice as possible. In the event of a last minute session cancellation, you will be notified by email, text message, a call to your mobile phone or through a designated Wild for Words social media site. Parents must ensure that they provide their teacher with up-to-date contact details.
10.4  The time and/or venue of a session will only be changed if absolutely necessary and Wild for Words will do its best to keep class times and locations as similar as possible.
10.5  In the event that a child is unable to attend a course session, due to sickness, holiday or a decision by the Parent or child not to attend, Wild for Words regrets that it is unable to refund any payment.
10.6  All children must be collected on time after a session. Wild for Words is not always able to supervise children after a session and consistent late collection will result in additional charges.
10.7  Wild for Words fees are reviewed annually and may be increased each year.
10.8  These Terms & Conditions, together with any Fee Note, Confirmation and Registration Form, constitute the entire agreement between the parties which supersedes and extinguishes all previous agreements, promises, assurances, warranties, representations and understandings between them, whether written or oral, relating to its subject matter.
10.9 In the event that one or more of the provisions of the Agreement are found to be unlawful or otherwise unenforceable, those provisions shall be deemed severed from the remainder of the Agreement.
10.10  The Agreement shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of England and Wales and any dispute, proceedings or claim shall fall within the jurisdiction of the English courts.
